Day 23

    Today I took my innovative lesson plan in VIII I. The topic was Orgin of name of elements. Pupil brought placards showing the name of each element. I called all students and they stood infront of class holding the placards. They introduced themselves as elements and told how their name came from. Thus it was like a role paly model and every student enjoyed the class.

     Today our Physical Education teacher from college came foe class observation and I took the topic 'Nutrition' in a class.

   Today is Chingam 1. Also today was an unforgettable day for me. Along with SPC and NSS volunteers of GHSS, Anchalumoodu, we went to Govt. old age home, Kollam. We went there with some gifts for the people residing there. HM and some teachers in the school were also with us. The residents there were waiting for us. There was a small session in which the officials talked and shared some of their experiences. They found some familiar faces in the old age home. That was so touching moment for all of us. Some programmes were also there for entertaining them such as film songs, dance etc. They and we enjoyed the day. We reached school back in the afternoon.          I conducted a unit test on Physics unit 'Motion' in the last period.
