 Today was a busy day for us. We had to attend almost all periods. I got 7 periods out of 8. Substitution periods were the most as the teachers had gone to re-evaluation camps. We got VIII, IX & X standard classes. So we got the opportunity to handle the different age group of students. Each class were different. Although today was busy, it was a great experience.

 After some days' gap, we went to school today. IX standard students were absent. I had a class in VIII I. I continued the unit Measurements and Units and tooke the topic Mass and Time. Students are very active in the class and it is a little difficult to manage the whole class of 50 students.

 The first 3 days of teaching practice was good at all. GHSS, Anchalummood is a high-tech school with all the facilities. The buildings are also new. The school atmosphere and the teachers are so good. The students are active and energetic. Class management and discipline are very important in the school.

 Today there was a Science Quiz programme at the school. We went there and assisted teachers in conducting the quiz. It was a good experience. Also, today was the inauguration of Mathematics club at the same time. Maths optional students went there. I had a chemistry class today at VIII I in the last period. I taught the topic 'Tiny particles in Matter'.

 Today I had a Physics class in VIII I. I continued the unit 'Measurements and Units'. The topics thickness of paper and diameter of sphere were discussed in the class. Students are interested in activity oriented classes. They observe and respond quickly to my questions.

 Today, phase II of our teaching practice started. We reached GHSS, Anchalummood.Classes started at 9:30 am. I had a class at VIII I in the 6th period. I started the chapter 'Measurements and Units' in Physics. I completed my first lesson plan. Class management was a little difficult as today was our first class.
